*Students of LIF's sports facility shine at State-level U20 Athletics Meet*

● Monika Sannu Madavi selected for Nationals in High Jump ● Also, eight students of the sports facility selected for the State-level Kabaddi tournament camp in U18 category *Hedri, May 20:* Two students trained at sports facility run by Lloyds Infinite Foundation (LIF) at Hedri, have brought laurels to Gadchiroli district by securing second and fourth position respectively in High Jump and 10,000 metres race in the Maharashtra State Junior (Under-20) Open Athletics Meet-2025 held at Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University ground, Nagpur, on May 18 and 19. In the Maharashtra State Junior (Under-20) Open Athletics Meet-2025, Monika Sannu Madavi from Etapalli secured second position in the High Jump event and got selected for the Nationals. Another student trained at the LIF's sports facility, Yash Pandhekar, secured fourth place in the 10,000 metres race at the athletics meet. Besides, during the recently held district-level selection trials for the Vidarbha State-level Championship Kabaddi Tournament-2025, eight students of LIF sports facility got selected for the State Camp in Under-18 category. These include five girls and three boys. The students selected for State Camp include Payal Talandi and Samira Gota from Udera village, Vidya Gawade from Tumargunda, Asha Naroti from Wangeturi, Sapna Pungati from Merkal, Mahash Koode and Svatantra Ade from Konsari, and Amol Warse from Tumargunda. The district-level selection trials were held at Jagdamba Sporting Club, Umri (Akola). The State Camp will be held at Gadchiroli on May 22. Earlier, in January this year, Sujita Bishwas from Ramakrishnapur village in Gadchiroli district had secured third position in Under-18 (Girls) category in the State-level volleyball tournament organised by Maharashtra Volleyball Association at Samarth Vyayam Shala, Nagpur. She has been selected for the National volleyball tournament. Under the guidance of *Mr. B. Prabhakaran, Managing Director of Lloyds Metals & Energy Ltd,* with each event, the students trained at the LIF's sports facility are making their mark and adding glory to Gadchiroli district's excellence in sports.
